7/22/08 2008 Summer Cross Country Run Results What a great weekend to be a Bison. The turnout was fantastic and I was especially glad to see many track and field athletes at the race running, working or cheering. The picnic at the house was bigger than ever. It seems like Summer Run is the unofficial kickoff of the new season for both cross country and track and field. Unfortunately we were greeted with a 90 + degree day, however I was very impressed with how many of the present athletes handled the heat. It was also great to see so many alumni attend. The men's alumni team beat the present team 27-29 with the help of a 1-2 finish from Wallace Campbell '08 and Matt Forys '07. The present women's team beat our alumni 19-44. [more]
